24th July 2011

Hello friends! Dad says he's sorry for not being on Pbase much recently. Poor poochgrandpa is still not well and needs a lot of
looking after, so Dad hasn't had a lot of time for photography. But yesterday we had a very nice outing to the Yorkshire Wolds!
We had a walky across the summer fields around the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy, and I smelled lots of rabbits and
hares! Sometimes Dad is in a hurry on walky but yesterday he was content to stroll along and wait for me to sniff for as long as I liked. Wasn't that obliging of him, friends?

Dad: a very weary but happy Pooch was fast asleep and dreaming of rabbit chases with twitching paws yesterday evening! :-)

Gosh it does not seem all that long ago that the fields had just turned green and now they are ready to harvest by the look of things. I am sure the peaceful walk did all of you a lot of good.

Sorry that your father is having a hard time, Ev. It must be difficult, but we have a duty to help our parents. Nice that you indulged Pooch. V
