24th October 2010

Today Dad took me out on Pheasant Patrol along the side of this field, friends.
We didn't see any pheasants, but I did manage to startle a couple of rabbits!
Here you see me after the rabbit-chase, looking very pleased with myself don't you agree!
And wouldn't that field be perfect for a little digging when Dad's back is turned?!

Dad: am still struggling with 60D exposure metering/ dynamic range - this shot was under-exposed by two-thirds of a
stop and the sky is still completely blown out. This would not have happened with the 40D. :-/

Canon EOS 60D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
1/800s f/4.5 at 28.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I think that field looks ready for a digging, Pooch. Hopefully Dad will get his camera figured out soon.

Hopefully Poochie Pop will get the 60D figured out; hopefully Pooch will never figure out how to catch a rabbit! :)

The effects of Summer ending are clear, you will figure the camera out, it just takes time. : ) v

Plenty of space there for a good run and a dig...but sad about the sky etc Dad!

I feel a certain chill in the air here - Dad with his camera, Pooch and his pheasants!

It looks a tad wintry.

I wonder if this is due to the sensor or the camera software... It would be interesting to see a side by side comparison with both cameras, identical view and settings.
