This was the first crossing of the day - the early one that the locals catch in order to open up the shops and cafes for the tourists
who come later in the morning. As such, the skipper didn't go at the gentle chugging speed he uses for the tourists - the ferry
roared its way very rapidly across the channel! Unfortunately there was also a strong wind blowing and the sea was very choppy! ;-)
