7th July 2010

Here's an archive shot from the beginning of this month, friends, as Dad's been too busy at work for photography. Can you see me
enjoying a little dig in amongst the maize plants?! The plants smelled quite strong and I was keen on the idea of uprooting one and
perhaps having a further sniff or maybe even a small chew. Unfortunately Dad had other ideas!

Dad: I forgot to mention what Pooch did last weekend - dug a large hole in step-Grandma's immaculate flower bed, throwing soil and clods of manure all over
her sweet-williams! Step-Grandma was not too impressed for some reason - I can't think why, can you? ;-)

Wonderful capture of Pooch in the forest of Maize.
Sounds like Pooch had a lot of fun in Step-Grandma's garden;-)

Pooch you were just digging a hole for new plantings, you get no respect or appreciation. : ) v

LOL - oh dear what a miserable old Step-Grandma not to let you dig!!!
That maize looks so good, there must be something worth digging for there!

Isn't Step-Grandma a pooch person? All pooch people know dogs dig!

Step Grandma should understand that holes has to be dug in this heat.
Burrows are nice to keep pooches cool.
And of course Sweet-Pooch is much nicer to watch than some sweet-williams, right?!

Well, she was saying "He can run in the garden as long as he doesn't do any digging" at the time!!!!

I rushed right over here when I heard what you did to Step-Grandma's garden, Pooch...LOL!!
How could she be mad about such a trivial little thing as manure on sweet williams :))

Well step-Grandma should realize that is what little Pooches do and be happy he visited her.
That corn looks very healthy. Ours is already being harvested in Louisiana.
