Scott the butchers, Low Petergate

On the left you can see the shop of Scott the Butchers, which traded from this medieval building for 130 years until 2008.
The name 'Petergate' refers to Saint Peter, in whose name the Minster is dedicated.

I like this quiet street but it does need people for business to survive...seems a shame after a century or more that it was closed
