18th September 2009

Dad: another archive shot from earlier this month - Pooch on PikeWatch. He seems fascinated by the sight of the fish swimming
lazily about in the water. I am sure he thinks it is only a matter of time before he succeeds where so many other wily fishermen have failed.

We are having a dilemma about whether or not to sell our 5D Mark II. The wife bought it a year ago for her photography business
but since May the recession has really begun to bite in this area and her number of commissions has dropped considerably. She
doesn't feel she can justify keeping what is in effect a depreciating asset if it isn't generating much income... Hmm, what to do...

Teddy loves to look at the water when we walk over a bridge too, I think he wants to jump in so never stop to take photos! This is a fun shot. Sorry to hear that the 5d has to go...

Any donations gratefully received - seriously though - when work picks up maybe you would want the latest outfit...
Pooch - have you seen a pike's teeth?

Don´t show Pooch those Animal Planet programs about trout fishing kodiac bears. He might get some ideas ( and end up as pike-food).

Keep the camera, when the jobs starts coming in it´s good to have that equipment. Many clients are easily distracted by the contents of your camerabag...
And a good camera makes the photographers life so much easier.
