27th June 2009

Today was very humid so we had a relaxing stroll around the park. I kept an eye out for more Squ*rrels but didn't see a single one!

Dad: I'm playing with two different trial plugins at the moment, DXo film effects and Topaz adjuster. This is the DXo shot. The Topaz
one can be found in our extras gallery - http://www.pbase.com/image/114335562 - if you have time to view, I'd be interested
to know which version of Poochmum's shot you prefer!

This one has better contrast that the Topaz, but the topaz has better skin tones...

This DXo treatment is much more colorful. I like Topaz, but just not for this particular photo. Dog was too yellow and background was a bit washed out.

This one is not as light but also does not have the wasted out effect, as the Topaz shot. I would stick with this one. : ) v

I don't like either one all that much. But I do like the Topaz better just based on the flesh tones. I'm sensitive to flesh tones and in the DXo version you look a little green to me.

Definitely this one. Come to our house if you want to chase some Squirrels Pooch, they've got Holly run ragged!

this one.

Looks like Pooch doesn't care, he enjoys his walkie!

This one...gives a bit more to the colour saturation.

DXO with slight decrease in the greens.

I like the DXo best. The Topaz has more natural colours, but washed out kind of. This DXo is more vivid, but of green tinted.
No squirrels? A squirrel came indoors at Bonnies dacare today. Unfortunately it found its way out before Bonnie arrived... I´m sure she hadn´t minded a aquirrel hunt around the house!
