24th December 2008

A Christmas kiss for Dad! Friends, my paw is healing slowly and I'm using it as an excuse to sleep on Dad's bed for as long as I can.
I can't to wait go walkies again - I'm still confined to garden exercise only at the moment and I get very excited whenever I see Dad
getting his coat on... and very sad every time I see Dad going outside without me.
Yesterday I felt well enough to fetch Toad and play with him for the first time in a week! Dad and Mum were very pleased.
A visit to Uncle Geoff the v*t this morning provided the biopsy results. There were lots of long words which of course I didn't understand, but
Dad tried to explain. He says it all means my infection was probably allergy related. Basically my immune system may be reacting to things it shouldn't be reacting to.
Uncle G the v*t isn't 100% certain, but he's suggested a drug called cyclosporin which might help.
I've got to take it for 2 months starting in a few days' time. Unfortunately it means a P*LL every day - yuck! But Dad says if it works it'll be worth it.
Happy Christmas everyone!

Pooch, I'm very glad you're feeling better. Don't worry about the P*LL - I'm sure Dad or Mum will wrap it in something very tasty to help it go down. Also, you look really good in 21.1 mp! Merry Christmas to Pooch, Poochdad, and Poochmum!
