We've long been intrigued by the concept of a camera that's significantly smaller and lighter than a conventional DSLR but still offers the benefits of a DSLR sensor and interchangeable lenses. Now that the G1 has been out a year and prices are becoming more sensible we decided to treat ourselves to one and see what all the fuss is about!
UPDATE March 2010: We enjoyed using our G1 very much and have had some great results with it. However we weren't happy
with the limited dynamic range compared to a DSLR and were also missing video capability, so the G1 has now been sold.

Great results so far. I used to shoot with a Fuji hybrid for years before I got my SLR, its all about the photographer, although having the versatility of my SLR is great. This panny looks great with the interchangable lens.
