Fountains Abbey ruins with CCTV lens

Photos from a day trip in early March 2011 to the Abbey ruins and to the Studley Royal estate surrounding them. The entire estate is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the "exceptional merit and beauty" of the landscape.
We were testing a new lens (an Ebay bargain) so the most of the images are a bit 'rough and ready' (more so than usual that is!)
