Today we got up early and had a long walk in Farndale, North York Moors. This area is hugely popular with visitors at this time of year because of the multitude of daffodils that line the river bank. We only took photos during part of the walk as during the return leg hundreds of other visitors began to arrive and it was too busy for photography. About 50,000 visitors in total are expected to descend on Farndale during this year's 'daffodil season'.
Pooch loved it - following different scents of pheasant and partridge etc almost non-stop. He definitely wasn't interested (at all!) in posing for photos today... hence photos of him perhaps not up to the usual standard! ;-)
If you would like to visit Farndale yourself, unless you enjoy a scrum both in the car park and on the footpaths, I would strongly advise that you go either late in the day or early!
