The Phoenix Roadrunners will begin their third incarnation next Fall under the Presidency of Claude Turtle Lemieux. They held a promotional event at America West Arena with NHL-ers who decided not to play in Europe. Among the stars were Jeremy Roenick, Mike Keane, Jyrki Lumme, Darrel Sydor, and Luc Robitaille. Todd Bertuzzi was announced in advance, but was a no-show for the event. I learned something on this night. Hockey ranks up there with televised poker for entertainment value when the players don't care about who wins.
