A photographic travelogue of my 3 weeks stay in Bali at November 2003.

Bali - a small island, midway along the string of islands that make up the Indonesian archipelago, offers both, paradise and rampant tourism!
As much as i disliked the annoying street hawkers, trying to sell me a t-shirt, a massage or a
transport, as much i loved the pictoresque landscape with green rice paddies, the lush tropical
jungle, volcanoes rising up trough clouds, long sandy beaches and the warm blue water.
The Kuta bombings of October 2002 shattered the peaceful image of Bali, and had a profound effect on tourism. For the balinese, i hope that the tourists will return soon.

Pictures are taken on Fuji Provia 100F slidefilm, with a Olympus 'OM2' 35mm camera. Made around the mid 70's, a very small, very stable, and very good travel camera. The lenses are very compact and of excellent optical quality.
