Bill Hollinger was born September 21, 1923, in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
He attended and taught at George School, Swarthmore, MIT, UI, Williams and Harvard.
During his long career as a development economist, he lived and worked in
Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Liberia and the United States.
He retired to Cadenet, France, where he died suddenly on May 14, 2010.
He will live long in our memories.
