Peeper Peeping

Sharon, Vermont

Pseudacris crucifer
The spring peepers were out in force with their ear-splitting racket.
These guys are tiny, and they were tough to find despite the noise.

Great eye, they're hard to spot.

WOW!!! Every time I look for these guys, they stop peeping when I get close, and I can't find them. How do you do it?
