Oahu from Coconut Island

Hawai'i

Visiting Tamar's research station.

Notice the dark band thru the sky --
using a polarizer with a wide-angle lens,
you can see how skylight is polarized --
it's darkest 90d from the sun.

Hi Selvin -- The polarizer makes the sky dark blue roughly 90 degrees from the sun (center right in this picture). But the wide angle extends far enough that you see a much lighter blue at the other end of the sky.

What artifacts are due to the polarizer use?
By the way very nciely done!
