If you are addicted to sharp vivid color, you should go to Nikon :D
Canon produce soft and natural vivid color, especially shooting close-up and portrait.
Anyway, keep going Peter. 20D won't make you disappoint.
Happy shooting.

I guess I'm addicted to sharp vivid color, Jongky! (;-)
Ya, Saya mau pulang ke Indonesia, 'tapi belum tahu kapan...

Yes Peter, since it is DSLR and G3 is only compact DC which full of fake effect (sharpness, color, vivid, etc)
Your 20D has natural result. Keep learning and do much exercise.
Btw, Ada rencana ke Indonesia lagi? :D

Hi Jongky -- Selamat sore (pagi??)!
The 20D feels great, very different from the G3 (or my old Pentax SLR, for that matter). But I still have a lot to learn -- I don't feel my results are that great.

Beautiful, Peter.
How's EOS 20D feeling on you?
Terima Kasih
