I use Photoshop, too. I use the Merge HD Pro as a starting point, then I do a lot of tweaking with the Highlight/Shadow filter, Curves, and blending layers. My goal is a natural look. I've seen here on Pbase some images that appear way overdone in the shadows and saturation.
