Swift Creek Bluffs, a 23-acre nature preserve in Wake County, is protected by Triangle Land Conservancy. This natural area is a remarkable remnant of historical Piedmont forests with huge beech trees, a myriad of wildflowers, and variety of birds. Swift Creek meanders through the heart of the preserve, while along the banks steep shady bluffs reach to a height of 100 ft. Join me as I hike the trails of this unique nature preserve located just five minutes from downtown Cary, NC.
