Panthertown Valley NC - May 2012

Waterfalls, wildflowers and beautiful scenery located in western North Carolina.

May 5th, 2012
Went hiking with my cousin Cathy and waterfall buddies Rich and Cindy to Panthertown. We hit Schoolhouse Falls first and then over to Warden Falls. From here we went to an overlook with an incredible view of the valley. The rhodos were at peak bloom making the whole area ablaze with color. After eating lunch here we headed back to the parking lot.

The next day Cathy and me got to meet another hiking friend for the first time. Cathy Yount came over and we went back to Panthertown this time to the West entrance to shoot wildflowers, waterfalls and scenics.
