ENC CAers trip to Lake Mattamuskeet

ENC CAer's New Years Day Adventure: Day trip to Lake Mattamuskeet, Hyde County, NC
A hardy group of five ventured to the lake to try to photograph the winter migratory birds of coastal NC. With temps in the 30's and a breezy it was cold! We did see quite a few birds, but I didn't get any decent shots. I founded out quickly that a 200mm lens doesn't cut it when shooting waterfowl. We had a great time as we always do. Good friends make for great times especially when exploring scenic North Carolina.
