The savanna was virtually flower free. Only the pitcher plants have a few blooms.
No orchids yet. Plenty of ferns were along the road side. They don't have true flowers,
but the fertile fronds are showy. By late May and early June the savanna will be ablaze
with colour. So for today I settle for brown toothache grass, sundews and skeeters.
