When we left Cathey's Creek Falls, our next stop was a trail just down the road on the right.
It looking interesting so we decided to go exploring. No waterfalls to be found,
but some really COOL fungi. From the trail we were on I happen to look to my left and
across the rivine I spotted something bright orange. I knew it had to be Chicken of the Woods
mushrooms. These bright orange fungi were easy to spot from the trail. We had to climb
down the bank, cross a dried creekbed, then climb back up the steep bank to get a closer
look. It was worth it!
