Ah, the prize of the day! I have only seen L. australis in one other place before today
and it was quite exciting to discover it in a totally new location. I saw three vigorous
plants in bloom. The habitat is ideal for them to thrive so I think there are more scattered
in the woods. Count three species of wild orchids (maybe more) to call Turkey Creek home.
