Autumn in the Green Swamp - November 2008

A group of us from Carolina Adventures gathered at one of the most biological diverse nature preserves in the country on the 1st day of November. Skip, Joe, Kimberli, Kelly and Yours Truly had a great time exploring the longleaf pine savannas and pocosins of Brunswick County, NC. We found rare plants, saw autumn colours and enjoyed each other's company. The weather started in the 40's and warmed into the 70's by afternoon. Here is some of what we saw.
