This aquarium I set up in the "Kölle-Zoo" aquarium store at Ludwigshafen, on the occasion of a workshop for the customers.

ElbertK: evenso i have a question. why do you use one extra 39watt T5 tube and not just 4x54 t5 It was not possible to install a 54Watt T5 in the back of the tank. Because there was the overflow from the filtersystem. So I install a 39 Watt to use all the space I have for lightning. Best regards, Oliver Knott

Same answer then down: This time I have really strong algae growing in this tank. Normaly they go away after 2-3 weeks...but they are stubborn. I suck them away with a hose by waterchange (every 3 days at the moment), cut the strong algae-attack plants and put in Amano-shrimps. I think (or hope) in 1-2 weeks I don't have this problem anymore. One reason maybe they are the new T5 Arcadia lamps...with a little bit to much blue proportion.

I see you did vacume and changed water. Anything else to eradicate the algae.
