This set-up is so perfect, for Malawi Peacocks (my preferred cichlids,) that when I get my 125 gallon tank, and with your permission, I would like to set it up similar to yours b/c I don't think I could ever duplicate yours. The rocks and arrangements are so cool because peacock cichlids do not need lots of rocks like Mbuna. Instead, they need a lot of swimming space and sand. If you don't mind could you tell me what kind of rocks and substrate (brand) do you have? Please!

Please feel free to copy this layout. I am not the specialist in set up Cichlid tanks , this was only a test layout to make something different for Tanganjika-Cichlids. Nice that you like it. The stones are "Minilandscapes" and the gravel from Dennerle (color: grey).

Very interesting tank!But I think?maybe fishes need more "house"?

Thats right we have put some shell houses in the tank.

Hallo,

Sieht super aus, keine Pflanzen, man schaut sofort auf die Steine und dann genau auf die schönene Fische. Super.

Was wurde für ein Kies benutzt und was sind das für wunderschöne Steine , Name könnte mir helfen das ich solche evtl. bestellen kann.

Die Steine heißen "Minilandschaften" und sind mit Hilfe von "Reef-Bond" zusammen geklebt. Der Kies ist Schiefergrauer Kies von Dennerle.

Nur warum wurden keinen Schneckenhäuser für die L. ocellatus hineingelegt?!

Danke für den Hinweis. Habe das umgehend veranlasst und jetzt fühlen sich die ocellatus hoffentlich richtig wohl.

Such a shame this fantastic scape wont see a lush carpet of HC and few clumps of Vivipara. Beautiful scape Oliver, keep up the good work!

Yeah you are right...i can imagine how it looks with this plant :-)
