Hy Tibor, yes I using a CO² dosing for this tank. But you are right, I need a lot of CO² to get the PH down. The reason the hard water I have at this location, the open top and the open fitering sytem in the stand. But the tank works very well because the plants in the tank need not so much light and I adjust the PH at about 7.20 - 7.30, thats CO² enough for this tank. Best regards, Oliver Knott

Are you using CO2 dosing on this aquarium? How effective is it as the tank has an open top?
