First Rent A Dog

I was on vacation in New England and took a walk down to the Connecticut River and this dog followed me.
It was nice to have the company and I called him "Rent A Dog".

It turns out he belongs to the neighbors of where I was staying.

Nice catch, Patti. Golden Retrievers just cannot resist water, but watch out when he comes out and shakes himself off!

This is such a beautiful scene, and the gorgeous dog adds to the feeling of contentedness. How nice to have a companion on your walk. I've had that happen in the days before I had a dog, and always enjoyed it greatly. V
