The "No Show" Aurora

Up along the shore of Lake Ontario, the sky was clear, the winds were non existent, the temperature was decent and the Aurora was a No Show. However all was not lost. The Big Dipper can be clearly seen and there is "something" moving across the sky near the top of the frame. The green light is on a small pier at Webster park. The lights on the horizon are from Canada.

Too bad about the aurora but I love the mood here.

A great spot for an Aurora scene. Clear skies, but a "no Show'.

Well you did get a green glow, probably a satellite (looks 'non-blinking), and those bloody Canucks and their fancy electric lights.
