It is indeed sad. I get especially sad thinking of these people and, for that matter, anyone who ends up dying all by themselves with none of their loved ones nearby.
It is sad but I'm glad some people are making the effort to visit with the elderly, going that extra mile to do what it takes. My folks always said "where there's a will, there's a way". Nicely seen and shot. (and I like where you put your name)
