I only save the quarters I get back in change. Each January, I empty the bank out and start over.
This is the result from last year... $42.25 . I need to spend more...

40 bucks is 40 bucks! I use cash so rarely anymore that I probably wouldn't even have ten dollars in quarters at the end of a year.

They still work in parking meters around here. You get an hour for a quarter in Coronado, but only six minutes along the interwar.

We save quarters for an outrageously priced parking area in Virginia (like 4 minutes for a quarter), so we'd love to have these!
