Guess The Fat Lady Isn't Ready To Sing Just Yet...

Woke up this morning to 1/2 inch of snow - way better than yesterday. Tuesday night it started to rain and then the winds started to build up. Heard the winds humming all night long Tuesday. Wednesday the full fury of the winds kicked in and we had a peak gust of 66 MPH along with strong winds all day long. I had no problems but power is out to many folks yet and trees came down and 3 tractor trailers got blown over on various roads! This snow is lake effect since the winds are now out of the NW and it's not going to make 40F today. In fact it won't make 50F in a week either. We're staying cool...

Relentless is a word that comes to mind. A winter that will linger in the memory, no doubt.

We've seen this view a few times, isn't nice there is only a half inch! We will be 10 degrees below average for the week also!

Unbelievable. It's beautiful here today, although chilly, but I heard we're supposed to get more snow on Saturday. In April. In Washington, DC.
