Genesee River at Letchworth State Park and the new train bridge. I'm surprised I can't find a post from me here on PBase showing the old train trestle that this bridge replaced. The quick story: old train trestle was built in 1875 and was due for replacement. A local former sportscaster, now part time news anchor, John Kucko , took up the saga of the old trestle and has documented this replacement bridge from day one using both a drone and DSLR. In fact on Dec 10, 2017 he stayed overnight in the park to capture the last trin over the old bridge and the first train over the new bridge and broadcast it live on his Facebook feed! His Twitter feed is awesome. His March 22 Twitter post shows the two bridges just one year apart. There is also some awesome footage of the demolition here as well as a couple of other videos of the demolition of the old bridge.
