Red Pine Row

Yesterday I was dying to get out, get some exercise and take some images so I went to the Cumming Nature Center which is about an hour south of where I live. I had never been there before (yes I'm bad) and I know I will be back many more times now that I know what I'm missing. It was cool by April weather - only in the upper 40F's and you can see that snow was still on the ground because it's at a little higher elevation. I walked for 1 1/2 hours and it was worth every second.
I have to do this more often.

I was told that these trees were originally planted to be used for telephone poles. Glad they weren't used.

Such a great perspective, and those long shadows are marvelous.

Great lines Patti with the bonus of fresh air stroll.
Although I am confused with you reference to elevation snow :-)

Another good reason to bury the utilities! I was thinking CCC when I first saw it, I like the way they put a log along the lest side to keep the roadway from eroding! Nicely seen and shot!
