Last night (Tuesday) while mowing the lawn I found this in my backyard. I had been seeing a brown rabbit in my yard and in my neighbors yard on and off the past couple of weeks. In fact, just Monday, May 19th I took a few shots of the momma rabbit (see next image) sitting in that very spot (it's a spot with a small depression and dead grass) grooming her fur. While mowing last night as I got closer to this spot, something in me said to check it out. Boy am I glad I did! I left a wide path around the nest and Wednesday morning I went out to check on the nest and I think there are at least 4 baby rabbits in there. Two of them were wiggling a bit so it won't be too long before they are all gone. Such a cool find :-)

Update: I counted 5 bodies crammed in that nest but there could be more :-)
