Today I was out with some photography friends and we were shooting in the small town of Honeoye Falls which is just a little bit south of me. I've photographed the falls many times over the years. Normally the water at this time of year is a trickle but because of Hurricane Sandy dumping water on our region last week the water levels were way up. In fact we ran into a local fellow who showed us some photos from last week when the water level was a foot higher going over the falls. I plan on going back this Winter when there is ice on the falls. I hoped to do that last year but the weather just wouldn't cooperate. We'll see what happens this year...
You can also see our "normal" overcast, ugly, gray sky :-(
