Nothing Like A Good Fire On A Cold Evening

I love sitting in front of a fire so when the opportunity arises I take advantage of it. While visiting friends in Vermont who know how much I love their wood stove fire, they make a one almost every night for me. I am also learning how to make the fire and I'm well on the way to "being capable". This goes along with my "woodswoman" skill building from last year.

I so agree! No longer have a fireplace, worst luck, but when I did there was nothing nicer than sitting by it with a cup of tea on a cold night. V

A beautiful image, Patti. I'm thinking a glass of good red wine and thick winter socks would be just right in front of that fire.

What a warm n' cozy image! I agree that there is nothing like a good fire on a cold evening. I think some of the best moments in life are had with a book in hand and a wood stove at foot!

Yes, I love fires too. Looks like a nice pattern on the stove.
