Granite Quarry

This is the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry in Graniteville, Vermont (near Barre). It's over 600 feet deep now and they can go deeper. The granite out of this particular area is called Barre Gray and it's used a lot for grave makers. They estimate they have enough granite here for way more centuries than I will be alive.
