After a week of above average temperatures we've got rain for the entire weekend. As you can see, the heavy snow from two weeks ago ( http://www.pbase.com/pkocinski/image/122342028 ) is just about completely gone now. However since the ground is still frozen if we get a lot of rain we'll have some flooding in low lying areas (not me) since the creeks and streams are already full with the melted snow. Fortunately they predict the rains will stop by Monday and the week ahead is predicted to be dry and above average for temperatures so we'll be fine.
By the way the average temperature for this time of year is around 42F (~6C) and our high daily temp has been above freezing all month and even hit 61F on Thursday but it's March and we have a saying "In like a lion out like a lamb" or "In like a lamb out like a lion." so we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope the lion doesn't roar this month :-)
