Storm Day 2 and Counting

This is my front sidewalk (curves to the right to the driveway by the stick). The area to the side of the step has 17 inches (43cm) of snow - I'm guessing 12 inches (30cm) are new snow overnight. It's a slightly wet snow so it's heavy. I shoveled the sidewalk off and stopped and rested. I don't want a heart attack nor do I want a bad back! I measured the snow in the driveway and there was 6 inches (15cm) and that's after my plowman was here already this morning.

Oh and it's still snowing :-)

We feel for you - we have the other end of that storm as rain which is causing significant flooding. Pace yourself as you shovel that out.

Wow! You could lose your shovel in that!

Slow and steady is the only way to tackle this mess.

Plenty of work ahead.

I was watching the weather reports on television and so many areas are just shut down for the time being.
