Now How Can I Capture Both At The Same Time... ?

On my way back from the end of the pier in the "next" image, you can see the slightly less than full moon over the beach.

So I was thinking (yeah I know that's a bad thing):
I wonder if someone has been able to capture both the Sun and the Moon in the same image?

Nice capture. Maybe with a fish eye lens.

That would take a VERY wide lens and some great post processing ;-)

The answer is simple - a solar eclipse with the moon passing in front of the sun. Now failing that - hmmmm a pending project.

A fine shot of this peaceful scene, Patti.
Not sure about your question thoughÉ
I think I'd agree with Mike.

I've tried but have yet to get it. Lovely shot here!

Now you've got me interested in the challenge, Sun & Moon. I don't know why it can't be done, just will have to wait for the moment!
