Montana has been a magnet for a great many new residents. Yes, the Bitterroot has been filling up with new people and homes are being built in many new subdivisions. I'm a country guy at heart and have not been pleased with the influx of out-of state people. I'm honored that you would think of me.

My Wife spotted this Rainbow from our home, which is just a shot drive to the Marsh, and yelled at me to grab my camera and run to the marsh. I was just hoping the rainbow would still be there when I arrived, if any thing it was even more brilliant. I managed to get some really nice image and when I post processed them I was amazed to see the reflection in the water. This has been one of my favorite Rainbow images over the past couple years....

The Bitterroot Valley was a haven for fruit orchards in the early years of it' settlement. The Valley has many abandoned orchards and this tree of apples was one of them. I was quite surprised too see how healthy they were. Normally abandoned trees produce sub-par fruit. I picked a few and they were quite tasty.

Hi Patti, It has been quite some time since I've been so over joyed with a new lens. This lens has done everything I have asked it to do. I really like the added reach of 600mm when photographing wildlife.

Hi Patti, I would like to thank you on all your recent comments on my images... I have been neglecting all my thank yous recently, my wife has been really ill fighting her allergies. Had to take her to the emergency room earlier this week and they sent her home with some oxygen..
