Lower Falls with half rainbow

Yellowstone National Park

The lower falls in Yellowstone National Park drop water almost 2 1/2 times further than Niagara Falls into a narrow canyon below. If you hike down towards the bottom, you get a sense of just how powerful the falls really are. I got distracted by the unusual perspective created by the towering cliffs. When a half-rainbow started forming, I set up and snapped a few pictures more or less forgetting about the actual waterfall itself. Sometimes though, its a unique angle that stands out afterwards.
