On April 12, 2012, I specifically went to NYC to attend the opening of "CHIP SIMONE" at the Stephen Kasher Gallery, and take in the Cindy Sherman retro at MOMA. I got to the Roger Smith hotel around 12:30 p.m. and met to have lunch with my friend, St. Clair Newbern III, who happened to be in town for a photo workshop. After lunch, we casually strolled from about 47th and Lexington Ave. over to MOMA. After the museum visit, St. Clair headed back to his hotel, and I continued walking towards the west side and a few block north before turning back east. Finally my feet gave out and I took a cab back to the hotel to rest before Chip's opening at 6 p.m. The images here are what I shot -- at least those I shot and liked -- from my strolling about the city.
