This was my first experience attending a Gwaffle Night Noise Pancakes show. This was at night, at ArtSF, and not on a Sunday afternoon. Do you know how hard it is for me to be awake by noon? Asking me to be in the city by said time is almost out of the question. Well, enough about that. So, yes, there are pancakes served at the show. Those little bastards are tasty! Even if you don't like the sounds these weirdos make, you should go for the pancakes. This particular show was supposed to have Gerritt in the lineup, but he couldn't make it. Lucky for us, Tralphaz was asked to do a second set. Most people weren't there yet for his openning set (which dominated to all hell!) gave the late-comers a chance to witness his binge and purge noise-aerobics. Second up was a 7ft beast from the electron-dimension, aka: 'Lectric Man. Skullcaster touched his brass knobs and the ladies smiled. Then, Xome demonstrated his epilepsy-on-ice routine. Watching him may lead to spasms in the upper, lower and either extremeties. Tralphaz did part 2 to his orgasmic show opener. Anti-Ear took control of the sound and moulded it into a custom quadrophonic noise-scape. Next was Caleb Johnston and Sam Garner. They do some kinda of White Voo-Doo thing. I think it's part of the food pyramid program, only with less about food and more about getting stabbed with pins. Closing up the fine evening was a violent old lady who resembled Bran (...) Pos. We'll just call her "Gran (...) Mas" for now. I can be sure, but I think that old bitch hit my car on her way out.
