I originally thought of these guys as being retro-retro-style. That doesn't make sense. So I'll say that they aren't retro, but they have a healthy respect for the Heavy and Hard of the past while taking advantage of modern dynamics. What the hell does that mean? I don't know. I just make this shit up, I've no idea what I'm talking about. I do know that there is a dude who's wearing a Possesed, "Seven Churches" t-shirt in these shots. And I do know that I saw Noothgrush, way back when. I'm pretty sure I have my Noothgrush t-shirt in storage. I also remember these guys sounding pretty heavy and stoney. It was hot in that club... all the time. Like, ALL THE TIME, no rest for the wicked kind of hot. Keep your eyes out for this band, I have a feeling you'll be seeing them around more often.
