Gaza were a crushing, technical band from Salt Lake City, UT. I cannot express how brutal this band was. Their most recent work, "No Absolutes in Human Suffering" is spectacular. I'm trying not to listen to it everyday. I am trying to pretend that this band was just another great band in my collection. They were so much more than that, and this release is one of the most impressive albums I've come across in years. Easily, the best release of 2012. Prior works are nothing short of awesome. "He is Never Coming Back" is probably their most "listenable" record, if you are not prone to pure brutality, but I have to suggest "I Don't Care Where I go When I Die." I consider this to be a perfect record. The layout, lyrics, and music are a masterpiece. I can't understand how this band Wasn't bigger than they were. Many reviews of this band list them as "Angry." Gaza questions things like organized religion, politicians, government, and your selfish laziness. This doesn't make them angry, it makes them realistic. The human race is cruel, appathetic and hippocritical to no end. Gaza is just asking why you contiue to choose these broken paths? You probably don't like being questioned. Feel free to hit the snooze button one more time.

I was honored to have seen them 3 times in 2012. Sadly, an anouncement in March of 2013 has declaired GAZA no longer an active band. This is a loss. One can only imagine what masterpiece they would have released next. I thank all the members of Gaza for their contributions. I am in your debt. You have my full respects and I wish you all success in your future endevours.
