Atlanta, GA has it's hands full. And while Dropsonic may actually live there, they're equally at home on the road and stage. After hearing their 2002 release, "Belle" (5440 or Fight!) I knew that this band would be remarkably loud and rockin' to see. They didn't let me down. Their sound is bigger than the sum of their 3 parts. Much like Shiner or Houston, their rock is bigger than most power-trios. Led Zeppelin references adorne most reviews about this band, but Zeppelin required FOUR people, and Dropsonic only THREE. The vocals are less nasal and more 'southern'. By that, I mean, don't bring your girlfriend to the show, unless you don't mind her leaving with another man.
