Wow! This band is a loaded gun. I didn't really sink my teeth into their music the first time I saw them, back in 2003. I had the priveledge of seeing them at the Bottom of the Hill with Rum Diary, Continental, and Settlefish (who I missed because I forgot it was an early/BBQ show). Members of Settlefish would sometimes accompany them during certain songs. Either way, I was struck by the power and emotion of this band. It feels. It's desparate. It's honest and painful. I definitely understand why Rum Diary refers to them as their favorite Portland bands. I'll be tuning in again. http://desertcitysoundtrack.com/
